"Quite simply the quickest thing with flat handlebars" is what the salesman in the shop told me as he showed it to me, and I have to say he wasn’t lying. This thing is one of the best bikes I have ever ridden, light weight and comfortable but still quick enough to keep up with a large percentage of road bike riders. I personally have a 2007 base model but would not even think of getting a different bike if I ever have to change. You seem to get 90% of the road bike performance but with the comfort of flat bars, slightly wider tyres and space for additions such as mud guards. A great all round bike, everything you could ever hope for in a hybrid bike.
